One of the beautiful perks of living in the city that never sleeps is the food. There are so many options, so much flavor! NYC’s Summer Restaurant Week is the perfect time to take a bite from all this city has to offer, for a great price.
Here are 5 restaurants you MUST try during Restaurant Week 2019:
Whether you’re looking to grab drinks (or sushi) after work, have a fun date night or a huge girl’s night dinner, Tao is IT. Known for its Asian Cuisine, taste traditional Asian dishes with a modern twist.
CP’s Pick: For all of you sushi lovers, try their Sushi Platter with an assortment ranging from a crunchy spicy yellow-tail roll to salmon tartare roll. Sushi’s not your thing!? No worries, the menu is full of options. Try their Glazed Thai BBQ Chicken. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do!
Do you look for salmon on the menu before you do chicken? If you love seafood as much as I do, Legasea is the place is for you. Besides all of the amazing seafood this place has to offer, it’s atmosphere is compared to TAO’s, which is one huge compliment.
CP’s Pick: Try Legasea’s ‘Seafood Marinara Pasta’ which has shrimp, lobster, and calamari. All of your favs in one dish. Yum!
For the Italian lovers, IL Mulino brings you the culinary mecca of a Roman trattoria and Florentine! In perfect NYC style, this restaurant is smaller in size but large in flavor.
CP’s Pick: Try the Ravioli ai Porcini. BONUS: If you’re a wine lover, there’s a special offer for you during Restaurant week.
American Cut Steakhouse
In a world where veganism and alternative eating is growing, I know there are still a few of us who cannot turn down a hearty piece of steak. If that’s you, Iron Chef Marc Forgione’s American Cut Steakhouse is where you need to be.
CP’s Pick: This steak lover’s restaurant offers a unique modern spin on classic dishes. Try the BLT Wedge and the Tenderloin Tip.
A hidden gem, Bodega Negra is located at Dream Downtown Hotel. Mexican Cuisine is one you can never go wrong with. (That is as long as you like it!)
CP’s Pick: Try their tacos and enchiladas.
