Without a doubt, actor Jesse Williams caused quite the uproar with his incredibly moving and powerful speech at the 2016 BET Awards.

Accepting the Humanitarian Award, Williams spoke boldly about the injustices that prevail in minority communities every day adding that for some reason officers deescalate incidences that involve those of the same color as they are but fail to do the same for those of color. In front of those on their feet in solidarity, Williams declared that we will make change, closing with a stinging-drop-the-mic statement of “Just because we are magic, does not mean we are not real.”

Earlier this week, news broke that fans of the Shonda Rhimes’ hit series “Greys Anatomy” were petitioning to have the actor fired, saying that he delivered a racist and hate speech against law enforcement and white people. Evidently, these “fans” have no clue as to who the show’s creator is as Rhimes responded with one very simple tweet.
Following Rhimes’ response TV talk-show host and gossip Queen Wendy Williams decided to take her chance at voicing her opinion of the controversial sequence of events. Take a look:
Surely, her comments show that she oblivious as to why and by who these organizations and institutions were established by.
Nonetheless, to say it better than we can, TV One News anchor took to his morning broadcast Thursday to read, in the most New York Times’ Bestseller’s List way possible.
